Working on a knitted flower, actually a frilled edge rose, to be exact. I was playing with a knitted ruffle and decided to try and turn it into a rose...and I'm loving the look of it! Photos coming very soon...just have to free up some space on my camera...be right back!
I'm back with pictures, let me know what you think :-)

I love the roses! They're very sweet. And boy, am I ever jealous of your kindle. I haven't taken the plunge yet. Someday, I probably will... but I have gotten in a habit of "reading" audiobooks on my iPod so I don't know if I will be able to transition back to actual looking at text again... that is, unless I can figure out how to read AND knit. But if I did have one? I'd probably store cookbooks, or books on knitting, just as easily as the "good reads" so that I wouldn't have to drag out my actual physical books nearly as often.
You can read blogs on the kindle, too! (smile)
Love the knitted roses - I've done crocheted flowers before but never thought about knitting them - clever you!
And, Trish, I can read and knit. In fact, I just had my Sunday morning lie in, with a book propped on my knee while I knit boring moss stitch for the bottom of a sweater. Tis very easy!
Oh my! Read while knitting? I'll try and give it a go...I can glance up at tv if I'm working a repetitious pattern...but reading...well I'm bound and determined to give it a try on my Kindle :-)
Cute roses for sure! Are you LOVING the Kindle? You can add your knitting pdf's too:)
