I've had a wonderfully relaxing, non-stressful day! Playtime most of the day...well, I did produce some things...the roses down below...and then a newly carded batt, I'm just loving how combining 4 little Loop BabyCakes produced an even more beautiful batt...

started as these...

and now I'm off to knit some more roses and work on the Boheme sweater...

Love the colors! I've always wanted to try my hand at carding and spinning my own yarn, but I've never had the guts to just sit down and try it.

Gorgeous batts! I'm currently not allowed to start spinning because I can't afford a new addiction:)

I followed you over from your Rav. directed comment, 'cause I wanted to give you this info regarding Mate and it's availability in the US...I found it in tea bag form in my local natural foods store, but I go to uni in a really "earth loving" town, and it may depend where you're from. Sorry that's so vague.

I know you can buy it on e-bay and I'm sure other places, but DON'T pay more than $10 for it! That bag in my picture, when it was full, cost me $1 US. I've seen it online for $70. If you really can't find it and you'd really like to try it, let me know and I'll send you some when I get home in August!

Jealous of your free time! The batt is gorgeous! Hope you're able to knit something pretty (and that you'll post photos of it.)

I also love the knitted flowers (isn't it fun??) and especially love your new Kindle! (Again, jealous!)
